Thornmill Yourmine
Shadow followed me everywhere as a very young puppy and I thought by myself 'you're mine'. Hence her calling and pedigree names. So she stayed at Thornmill. Half show, half dual purpose bred, she was a dog catching the eye in the showring, always managing to get in the cards but she was not a particularly good working dog, at least not to our standards. Many starters would have been glad with her working skills but we had already evolved too far in the working direction at that point in time. So she became very much Sonia's house dog and pet.
We enjoyed having her around and taking her on many short trips. She died at a ripe old age and I think we can speak for her saying she had a wonderful life. We never bred from her although her eyes and hips were tip top and maybe that was somehow a missed opportunity, we'll never know now.
