Thornmill Upstream
Tara was key to success on the way to working our Goldens. A daughter of Th. Rocksteady, a successful dog in the showring, and our own Lenka's Golden Pride Quinsanne she stayed with us when my father in law, very much a hunting man himself, confirmed my choice of puppy by saying: 'this is the one to keep, she can't take her eyes of you'. And so it happened ...
She was successful both in the showring and at working tests, Dual Purpose was like her second name. A very biddable dog and also a really nice looking, dark coloured bitch. She teached me what hunting is all about and we spent numerous hours at shoots. My own expererience at that time was far from sufficient to be successful at field trials although we did evolve a lot in the right direction.
Tara will be remembered as a very reliable and honest dog, she teached me a so much and she was instrumental in the evolution of Thornmill.
